I am Ryan Bruzan, founder, creator, designer, installer and operator of Cherrywood Custom Woodworking. This section of the website illustrates the most important part of your custom cabinetry project: our process.
My team and I work very hard for the people we serve. We do our very best to deliver the best quality materials, accessories and service for those who welcome us into their homes. As much as like enjoy the work we do to make our creations come to life, we also have homes and families to tend to. As a result, we do our very best to make good use of our time while completing our projects in the best time possible.
Our goal is to get our projects completed in a timely manner so as not to jeopardize the quality we intend to leave you with. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of our vendors and suppliers and have to play within the boundaries they set for us. As you can imagine based on your own experiences, the past few years have changed a lot about the way we do business. We cannot always get the products we need to facilitate our work quickly. On the other hand, we can promise when we schedule to begin your in home installation, unless whatever circumstances may prevent us, we will be there from day one until we finish your project.
Estimation
Are you ready? At this stage, we will gather as much information about your project so we can define a range of the values and investments we are willing to trade. Your preparations and information are necessary before we can compile an estimate. The information we need from you is on our contact form and is your first step.

Design & Planning
A beautiful result starts with a good set of plans and preparations necessary to ensure a smooth work flow on any custom cabinetry project. 
We will not leave you in the dark. At this stage after the estimate, and having decided to move forward with your project, we will show you a digital sketch for your approval of exactly what your project will look like when it is completed. At times, a few revisions may be necessary to achieve your desired result. After you approve the final design we will begin processing your project. The next steps will be outlined as we proceed. 
Everything about your project will be carefully considered and conducted in as detailed and organized a manner possible. Most of the work is completed in the shop with as little time necessary and mess in and around your home. Safety is paramount.
Project Completion
When we sink my sharp blades into any project, we do our best to complete the project as fast as time, safety, circumstance, contingency and quality allow. Other projects are usually ongoing. Though we usually work our projects in the order in which they arrived, there are occasional opportunities we can move on to other projects faster than expected. When the time comes to begin your project, we promise to deliver the same level of excellence and attention to detail as we have on every other project that we have completed.
There is no speedy checkout lane here; this stuff doesn't work that way. It takes a lot of time and effort to complete a project at every level. That includes ensuring designs are the best they can be, acquiring materials, processing the each part of a project, to finishing and installation and finally, completion. In the shop, tools break, blades get dull, sprayer parts become worn, and anything can cause us to stop the project to makes repairs and maintain our equipment. Just as a curing process cannot be forced and the paint has to dry before moving forward, the condition of excellence cannot be rushed.
