The idea for having a general idea of your budget and the costs of remodeling is to be prepared to configure and adjust your lists, modify your budget and set off to a successful project result.
Start with what you want. Compile a wishlist of everything you want your final project to look like. Don't regard price at this time, instead gerenate a good-better-best list of alternatives and prices. Then, after finishing your plan, review and make adjustments to meet your budget.
Additionally, after calculating your final budget, be sure to add 12-15% to the final list price to accommodate the certain possibility of excess, mistakes and additional services and supplies. Consider it a just in case cushion for unseen issues. Something will happen that digs into your cushion. Expect it, prepare for it and the experience will be a lot more pleasant.
